FULI ART | Aldo Cibic’s New Collaboration Debuts at Design Miami


From March 8th to 12th in 2023, Objective Gallery and FULI, in collaboration with well-known Italian architect Aldo Cibic, presented their co-created art tapestry works at Design Miami in Shanghai’s Zhang Garden.As one of the founding members of the Memphis Group, Aldo fully uses the pattern elements of dots and free lines which are the classic elements of Memphis Group to break the ordered line structure, creating a modern and tension-filled art tapestry collection.


Design Miami/ Podium XShanghai-A Madein Houseproduction which is the sister exhibition of Art Basel and a global collector of art and design was unveiled at Zhang Yuan which is the iconic Shikumen architectural space in Shanghai.Objective Gallery (Shanghai, New York) brought a collection of Aldo Cibic designs to the exhibition, shaping a narrative environment that tells the story of space, people and furniture.

About Aldo Cibic


Aldo Cibic is one of the founding members of the Memphis Group, the founder of Cibicworkshop and a partner at Sottsass Associati, as well as an honorary professor at Tongji University which is also a member of the Memphis Group.


Aldo Cabic’s design works and drawings are displayed in the permanent collections at the Stedeliik Museum in Amsterdam, the Groninger Museum, the CCA (Canadian Architecture Center) in Montreal, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Italian Design Triennial Museum in Milan and the Pompidou Center in Paris. He was listed as one of the “2019 Best 100+ Architecture Companies” by the globally renowned architecture magazine Domus and is known for his cultural innovation. His projects such as “Microrealities” (2004) and “Rethinking Happiness” (2010) have been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale.
